INTRODUCTION:

Tribotest apparatus functionalized with surface morphology and nano-displacement tests was consists of lever/cantilever loading part, high precise rotational movement driving part, stress signal collection board, micro-displacement sensor, and the contact surface morphology test part. The apparatus can perform the heavy/light loading friction and wear tests, frictional micro-oscillation tests, stick-slip tests at the sliding contact interface, worn surface morphology measurement. With the apparatus, the friction and wear properties at the contact interface can be characterized with multi-angle, and the friction coefficient, frictional micro-displacement, wear life and worn surface morphology are obtained, which are meaningful parameters to evaluated the tribological properties of carbon film. The whole apparatus costs 64,800 US dollars.
