The Sixth World Tribology Congress(WTC2017) was held in Beijing, China, on September 18-22,2017.The objective of this congress is to highlight recent important progress in all aspects of tribology and strenthn the links between academia and industry by exploring various researchers on fundamental and applied Tribology. On the opening ceremony in the first day, China's Vice Premier Liu Yandong sent a congratulatory letter to WTC2017.The director of NSFC, professor Yang Wei, the president of Tsinghua University, and many other researchers in the field of tribology have delivered speeches.

INSE have took part in the congress.Prof. Diao DongFeng was the chair of session, and the members of INSE have delivered 11 oral presentions and 4 poster presentions. This is the second time for the INSE to participate in WTC. We have did our best to communicate with experts, demonstrate the Shenzhen University, and enhance the influence of Shenzhen University.
