Prof. Diao Visited the Top Universities and Research Institutes in JapanViews [2935] Delivery time :2016-11-23 18:19:13
During November 5th to 17th, 2012, Prof. Dongfeng Diao, director of INSE, has visited Nagoya University, Shizuoka University, Tohoku University, Nihon University, Chiba Institute of Technology, and AIST in Japan. He discussed the plan on short-term visiting and communications between INSE and the above facilities. Those universities and the research agencies has shown supportive attitude on taking on short-term communications projects, and with the rest agencies still under negotiations, INSE has reached an agreement with Nagoya University on a tuition-free-supporting project that annually covers four postgraduate students who comes from each other facilities. Other than that, a co-research plan was built up with AIST on the development of nanosurface bio-sensor technologies. At Tohoku University, Prof. Diao also met with Prof. Kubo, Momoji, the world famous scientist on molecular dynamics simulations, discussed about the research plan of the joint-trained PhD candidate Qi Zhang. The exchanged their opinions on establish a model for simulating electron irradiation using quantum MD method, and made inspiring progresses.
